About Dream Free Art

The Owner

Our CEO, Tina, was working a mundane and draining job. She discovered that by doing art in some form every day while working at that very draining job, she was more relaxed and able to handle the stress of that job (did we mention it was draining?) more easily. Thus Dream Free Art was born!

Our Location

Dream Free Art Studio is a welcoming, judgement free art environment full of opportunities to be creative in a relaxed setting, connect with one another socially, take chances by trying new projects and get messy (in a safe way)! Dream Free Art focuses on facilitating the rediscovery of the joy in the process of creating!

We are located in the Hartz Business Center building. Our address is 1341 Hughes Ford Rd suite 111 Frederick, MD 21701 (near Camp Bow Wow and the Garage).

Our Mission

We are passionate about our belief that art can be healing and restorative for the mind, body and soul therefore it is our mission to help unlock hidden creativity within people of all ages by providing an adventurous, fun, and welcoming art environment that supports all creative capabilities.

We focus on the process of creating art and we don’t worry about the final result. Our main goals are stress relief, mental health support, self-expression and fun!

We believe that through art and creativity, overall stress can be lowered! Throughout the Pandemic, we REALLY leaned on art, creativity and DIY's to keep our stress lower and maintain what mental health we had left! That's when we truly realized that by opening a brick and mortar location for our Studio, we could serve more people in our community at once by providing fun, fresh, trendy creative experiences for ALL levels of creativity (especially those who don't believe they're "creative" enough)!
